The prices for provided legal services are determined on the basis of contractual fees, flat fees or designated fees as set out in the Ministry of Justice Regulation No. 177/96 Coll., on attorney fees and attorney compensations for the provision of legal services (attorney tariff).
Contractual Fee
A contractual fee is usually agreed with the client based on the time demands and complexity of the provided legal services. It is usually based on the number of hours during which the legal services are provided, and in exceptional circumstances also on the value of the dispute or other circumstances of the given case.
Flat Fee
A flat fee is usually applied to entrepreneurs and commercial companies. It involves the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of legal services, which is the basis of long-term cooperation. Based on such an agreement, the client can use our legal office’s services on an ongoing basis with advantageous prices and conditions.
Designated Fee
This method of determining the fee is used at our office if a contractual or flat fee was not agreed upon with the client. The level of the designated fee is determined in accordance with the Ministry of Justice Regulation No. 177/96 Coll., on attorney fees and attorney compensations for the provision of legal services (attorney tariff). To calculate the attorney’s fee, this legal regulation generally refers to the value of the dispute or matter in which the legal services are provided.
